We’re now officially opening our doors for an Accounting Intern to join our team, with a primary focus on data integrity projects. This individual will become an exciting new member of the General & Tax Accounting and Accounts Receivable Department this summer! This is a great opportunity for potential candidates to get hands on experience and apply their knowledge to strategically aligned initiatives within the finance team.

What you will do
Ensuring the accuracy of contracts to guarantee reporting is correct
Entering Billing & Accounts Payable information into our records
Ensuring client information is up to date
Working within our systems on Data Integrity projects
Drafting additions and removals into Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Occasionally support the payables function by preparing data for journal entries or filing paperwork
Other ad hoc tasks as required
Skills & Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (Preferably in Finance or Accounting)
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Proven ability to prioritize tasks and deliver on commitments
Ability to work independently while updating supervisor on status of tasks
Willingness to take direction and manage priorities for executing multiple projects
Solid work ethic and initiative
Maintain organization confidentiality
Exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with staff, management and outside contacts
