Cars.com is seeking an Intern on the Financial Planning & Analysis team, which is responsible for forecasting our financial results, budgeting, analyzing business decisions, and being a key business partner to all areas of the business.
Over the course of the internship the successful candidate may be involved in:
Preparation and presentation of key financial and other metrics to stakeholders and decision makers across the business
Forecasting and modeling of financial results given certain assumptions or conditions
Identification and investigation of key drivers impacting results
Sensitivity analysis and contingency planning
Following set, consistent standards for all aspects of Financial Planning and Reporting
Required Skills & Competencies
Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and strong focus on accuracy
Ability to follow set standards in order to maintain consistency of deliverables

Required Experience
Working towards bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Quantitative Analytics or related field at an accredited college or university
