Summary
ParkChirp is an online parking platform for marketing parking garages and lots and selling parking in major US cities. The solution is Chicago-based and was developed and launched in 2017. The company’s owners are seasoned commercial real estate professionals; this internship offers the unique combination of a startup that is embedded within a well-established, successful national real estate consulting practice.
This document outlines our summer, 2019 internship program, which is designed to support and expand marketing and account management functions in Chicago.

Responsibilities
Business-to-consumer: generate and execute on-the-ground marketing campaigns within downtown Chicago parking facilities, office buildings, and other venues. Interns will hand out leaflets in-lane in parking facilities, on street corners and in parking lots to reach potential customers. This may also involve handing out leaflets at large events, in surface parking lots, or other venues if we believe we can reach potential new customers.
Business-to-business: canvass and develop relationships with office tenants, retailers, restaurants and other businesses, with the goal of developing product offerings and backlinks from partner sites to ParkChirp. Interns will identify and contact potential parking partners with the goal of adding backlinks from their websites to ParkChirp and/or creating promo code programs to attract new parking customers.
Data analysis: study existing customer data to identify purchasing habits and target on-the-ground marketing efforts. Develop marketing campaigns to expand existing relationships, develop referral programs, deploy other strategies utilizing data collected by the site and implement tracking mechanisms to measure results.
Account management: provide support to existing client and customer relationships, including onboarding of new locations and providing online and telephone troubleshooting and support.

The company is located in the River North neighborhood of downtown Chicago, IL.
Our clients are the largest and most respected commercial real estate owners and managers in the U.S., including well known institutional and private equity firms.
Our full-time team is young and dynamic; summer interns will interact heavily with this team.
