Doozy Entertainment works with music venues and festivals in the cities of Chicago and Berwyn Illinois and is currently seeking interns to assist with its Marketing, Promotions and Production Departments! Doozy is home to many of Chicagoland’s premier events and musical performances, including those by Walk the Moon, Guster, Smoking Popes, James Mercer, Amos Lee, James Bay and other national touring artists.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
Drafting and scheduling eye-catching social media posts.
Contributing to weekly email blasts.
Interacting with online audiences to provide helpful customer service and build a loyal online following.
Covering concerts and events to capture Instagram Stories and Snapchat content.
Research and analysis projects.
Lost and found.
General administrative tasks.
Ideal candidates should be:
Passionate about music and/or nightlife.
Punctual and ready to contribute.
Comfortable publishing content with social media platforms.
Professional courteous, and well-behaved in all settings.
Knowledgeable of current trends and pop culture.
Enrolled in college or recently graduated.
Interns should expect roughly 5-10 hours in the venue per week, and another 2-5 hours of independent work at home.
Internships are unpaid, however, there are often paid opportunities assisting with private events, etc.
Can be taken for college credit.
