Our client is a premier wealth management and financial advisory firm in the Midwest. This role will direct all operations, performance measurement, and reporting/compliance. Will advise the CEO on management and operational matters, and as a member of the firm’s senior leadership team, will be a key contributor to its growth strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage financial performance reporting, including development and presentation of financial reports to CEO
Document, implement, and monitor business processes and operational strategies that support the efficient and effective delivery of advice and service to clients
Work with the CEO to establish and implement the firm marketing plan
Develop and manage compliance policies/procedures and provide compliance supervision
Formulate and implement compliance management strategy
Manage and aim to enhance the client experience through the continuing development, implementation, and refinement of client-centric business operations and financial advice processes
Oversee and manage development and performance of Investment Operations Team including but not limited to goal setting, providing performance feedback, building ongoing development plans so team members achieve professional goals and objectives
Prepare accurate and timely financial and performance reports
Direct maintenance of information and operating systems for Investment Operations team
Continually optimize advisory and business operation technology strategy
Co-manage base and incentive compensation plan
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Accounting, General Business, Finance, Financial Services, and/or Marketing)
5+ years’ experience in Financial Services Industry
Experienced professional with financial management (budgets, financial reports, cash flow management, etc.)
Proven people management experience including but not limited to decision-making, communication skills, conflict resolution, ability to delegate to others, and coaching
Keen attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Strategic thinker
Creative, critical thinking skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
High ethical standards and alignment to core values
Ability to manage time effectively through strong prioritization and organizational skills
